Suggestion: post detailed interior photos, get a compression test done (130k is really not a lot of miles for any engine).
Consider posting it on eBay, the market there seems pretty strong.

agreed danix- thank you.
video shows interior and engine pretty nicely.
Indeed the next step is ebay or bat. Was really just hoping to go the craigslist/alfabb route first having good luck in past...

LOL.
nice of you to say.
I can link you to plenty of crusty faded half broken $3k spiders if you want one.

My point is I'm looking for the best early spider I can afford. Yours is nice but I'll never get my money back after I dump in a few grand fixing all the little bugs.

Understandable for sure. yeah- this price range of spider imho is about the enjoyment/cost of ownership within reason- not the investment return. I think most vintage alfa owners would agree on this.

130,000 miles divided by 31 years equals only 4,193.5 miles a year.

1969 1750 Spider Veloce w/dual webers, 1969 1750 Berlina, 1971 1750 Spider Veloce w/ dual webers, 1985 Spider Veloce 23,000 orig. miles, {Two} 1986 Spider Veloces, 1987 Spider Veloce bought new, 1988 Quadrifoglio, 1991 164S, Plus several more. I think they are breeding.

A low milage spider that has rarely been driven over over the years and has probably set for half those years is going to cost you a few grand to fix all the the little bugs.

Take a look at BAT and see what the low milage S3's have been bringing lately.

At least it will be low mileage and command more if you decide to sell it. Again, why no buyers? It's been on here long enough.

Wow. respectfully it does not sound like this car is for you- I can understand/respect that. A little optimism here I would consider more professional/courteous. Have sold many alfas and similar--niche cars- niche market- often take some time to sell. 2 prospective buyers up north actively discussing. Nth

I guess I should of toned it down. Sorry for that. Good luck with the sale. Yes, it is not for me for obvious reasons.

That's a lot of car for $6500! Especially with S2s approaching $20k and S1s $60k. Love the color! GLWS
