1969 Giulia TI

This car was manufactured 8th April 1969 and was delivered to a buyer in Rome 4 days later. In 2003, with 79,972km on the odometer, the car was sold to a customer in the U.K. The car was resprayed at that time. In 2005, the car was shipped to Connecticut where significant mechanical upgrades were undertaken. In September of 2009, I and a friend flew to CT and drove this, my 10th Alfa, back to California. I have the utmost confidence that the car would delight in another cross country adventure.

I am putting the car on the market because I am smitten by the new Giulia. I have no garage space for another car, so something has to go. This car has been my daily driver for 8 years (although it is not allowed to play in the rain). It get LOTS of attention everywhere it goes. Drive it to the track and have a blast if you are so inclined. Asking $22,000.

Mechanical info:
1750 motor
Dual Webers
Reground 1750 cams
Spruell, stainless steel extractor exhaust headers
Electronic, programmable distributor (123ignition)
Lightened gears in gear box
4.10 LSD rear end
Battery (Optima) relocated to trunk
Milano front brakes
Bilstein shocks
6" Minilites
195/65R14 Falken ZIEX tires

Body and interior:
Solid, original rockers and floors
Some rust repair at front jack points

Excellent respray while in the UK
Newly upholstered in 2015 (Classic Alfa, UK)
New door cards matching upholstery
Excellent dash and headliner

Halogen headlights w/added relays
Front bumper and over riders available; need repair

Love the plates. If only you could fit TRX tires. Sorry to see it go, but for a good reason.

I don't see why not. I have not researched transporters recently. Then again, you could enjoy a scenic drive up the coast (we are mile from the Pacific ocean).

Tried to send you a PM but not sure it actually went through. Fighting some BB gremlins and my original account from 2003 got lost so had to start over. womp womp. Having said that though, I am interested in the Giulia and have a few questions for you. My e-mail is cpgonyea at yahoo dot com if we could possibly connect there? Hope to hear from you. Thanks!

The stripes are a vinyl overlay. They have been on the car since before I acquired it in 2009, and show no sign of losing their grip. I would expect that a heat gun/hair dryer might soften the adhesive so they could be lifted off??

Lovely vehicle! I'd love to fly out and take it BACK to Connecticut. Don't let it go for much less than you are asking, as it seems to me to be a great TI. Just need to win the lotto...
