Hate to say it. But that is a awful looking interior. Red was not the way to go. Stock carrera gold and black top would have been the way to go. Good luck.

My thoughts exactly. I look at this thing and think how I would have to spend at least three large or more just to fix their mistake.

Love the overspray (more pics on Craigslist). Poor little Spider. I'm local, and I hope I never run into this one.

I'm thinking he/she put it here to sell, and that the various crappy-color opinions mentioned aren't going to help. (Which is the nice way of saying, if you're not interested in purchasing the car, keep the crappy-color, personal opinions to yourselves). Now neither of you have to spend three large changing it to an ugly, out of date gold......you get the idea. (Oops! That's not my opinion!!).
Let it go, or make an offer, buy it and fix ito your liking.

I hear ya. But, it was just so hideous, i just couldn't help it. Sorry. I have a 73 spider that was modified in various ways, that i bought many moons ago. And i'm sure if i posted a pic. Especially now. I would expect to catch flac or compliments, either way. This is a open forumn and what comes with it, should be expected. Again, 1 million pardons. But it is what it is.

I don't disagree with your opinion. It's just that someone's trying to sell it. If it was in another section, then have at it. Like if I said that the choice in springs on that ........
And I apologize to those who's opinions were said.

There's been some discussion here about what we should and shouldn't say about someones for sale ad. I'm of the opinion since this is a forum (Roman for place of discussion) we should be able to state/debate opinions without getting personal. If someone likes a car no matter what is said and the price is agreeable it will sell. Now if the moderators want to put rules in place then they should.

Not at all. What I'm saying is that some forums have rules that state no comments at all on for sale threads unless it's to contact the seller.

All right. My comment was spur of the moment from surprise at seeing the interior color.

It's like when someone reminds me of the GOP candidate. At my age, sometimes I cannot help myself, and utter an unkind comment.

In the case of the car, ok, I hope the sale goes well.

Okay! So last time I will be sharing any sale on this forum.

At some point you have to ask yourselves: What is actually going wrong in your lives that makes you seek pleasure in turning Classifieds into Criticisms.

The intention of the post was to try to find a good home for a car that was carefully redone (WITHOUT OVERSPRAY) Thank you very much!

Was tired of seeing same dirty tan or faded black interiors and tops so wanted to brighten it up a bit which I thought it accomplished that along with giving it a cleaner look. Its not like it was spray painted some kind of pink or dirty yellow or brownish green.

Its as if some people on this forum just can't help themselves to criticize and that makes me feel like maybe I will try vw or maybe volvo people are a better community of people?

I do appreciate some people standing up but where is the site moderator and why are these angry bored people allowed to tear apart listings like this??!

Since you want to argue the point, this is all overspray. Think the car came out of the factory with a white a/c condensor?
