ActuallyCheryl you got it all wrong, it's "Back ordered", then "discontinued" and "delay" a close second. "I don't know" and "yes we have it"(but never do) is the next in their vocab list.
But yes this is why we love them so much because of the mystery involved.
Not cut and dry like German cars.

Well, after months and months of waiting, I finally got the results of the client selection process by Alfa for the 8C Spider and Ö I was chosen as one of roughly 25 potential clients here in Japan!

Sadly, I am going to relocate next year due to an upcoming "restructuring", so won't be able to take it.

Very sad, I was so looking forward to it.

Was reading this thread with great interest, awaiting photos of a recently purchased 8c.

Alas no cigar.

Surely this wasn't a huge joke?

Just checking in myself... This is not a good sign for Alfa! If this is the way A.R wants to be in the U.S.A.

Simon should go back to the way ALFA B.B> was and put our cars back on top every month....

My only concerns regarding the validity of this post is that there are at least three to four 8 C's advertized regularly on Autotrader that have only delivery miles on them (basically new cars). They are lingering inventory that certainly would give the buyer some negotiating ability. Some are fully equipped (with the custom luggage) and others are more bare bones. If truly interested in this car, why deal with delivery delays and false promises when there are cars available? JMHO
