8C sold at Mecum Monterey

The 8C Competizione sold at Mecum in Monterey for $305,000. Somebody got a real bargain. I am sure it would have brought significantly more at RM or Gooding.

The winning bid was $305k but there is typically a 10% buyer premium. The winning bidder probably paid around $335K for the car.

JPC823: Thank you. I was not sure if the $305 included the commission. Appreciate you clarifying the pricing. $335,500 makes more sense for the car. Still a good buy. People do not realize how rare these cars are in the U.S., only 84 and at least three or four of these went to Canada and may not be able to return.

The Canadian cars ever wanted to come back to the states they could. As they were first imported to the states under U.S. Federal guides lines.
