Talking Alfa 8C in Snow Blizzard Nemo

Hi Everyone,

Here are a few pics and a video that I took with a friend during the Snow Blizzard Nemo that is afflicting the New England area in the US!

These were taken before the ban that was imposed by Governor Patrick.

Hope you enjoy!

Best,
G

Got some coverage on Jalopnik. Quite cool. The pictures are great, the sound on the video is good too. Glad you kept the shiny side up!

Hi,

Interesting to see the 8C in the snow! Would probably never happen here. We have half a meter snow in the area exept on the roads. So this is less than everyday condition here at this time of the year.
In contrast, last year in London they had to close the airports for several days because of snow blizzards. Here for the same precipitation, the closing was for 4-5 hours only. Much more accustomed here to such conditions!

However I wonder, do you have winter tires in you area, or did you drive with summer tires? Maybe the concept of summer/winter tires is strange even?

Hi Gabor,

Nice, I'm sure Norway is tuff but this is the same condition over here during this time of the year. From November to end of March/early April I change my set of rims with summer tires with the winter/snow tires.

Temperatures during Jan/Feb are always below 0 and snow comes down very often at least once a week but usually more!

Best,
G
