Centerline Holiday Lunch and Car Show

While most of the country has been blasted with snow storms we've seen a really mild December here in Colorado and that looks set to continue into next week. More importantly the magnesium-chloride-and-gravel fairies haven't visited our roads yet so they are still clear for classic cars.

To take advantage of this situation we will be having an informal Holiday Lunch and Car Show on Thursday, Dec. 23rd. Fill our parking lot with Alfas and we'll fill you up with Holiday cheer and good deals!

I know this is short notice, but realistically a few weeks ago there was no way to predict this turn of mild weather so we didn't dare plan on it.

We will be offering the following:

Free Lunch, Drinks, and Desserts
A $100 gift certificate for our favorite Alfa in attendance
25% off ALL in-person sales (!)

The particulars:

Centerline Holiday Lunch and Car Show
Thursday, Dec. 23rd, 12:00 Noon - until we're finished
1220 Commerce Court, Lafayette, CO 80026

I heard that GTVs that can rust in a vertical stripe are strong runners for 'best in show'.

The forecast as of today shows sunny.

Thanks Joe, Roberto, Sandman, and all at Centerline. Will try and make it.

Perhaps there will be a sighting of this rare beauty:

... or if it is warm enough I may ride this Italian beauty:

Lawrence: Are non-waterpumper cars allowed? Thanks again for letting me drive the classic 911 at Alfa Circo track day.

Happy Holidays and all the best in the New Year.

Ciao

A few nice cars (and owners) have RSVP'd and while the weather may be a little cooler - just a few flurries I hope - we're excited and it should be a good time.

Bill - despite what Bob says, I don't believe there are any Junior Zs in Colorado. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong.

I'm going to try to swing by for a bit, but it will be in a proper Italian car.

Regards,
Lawrence

Today was great - the weather held out for us (40s and sunshine) and we had a number of nice Alfa's stop by throughout the day. Dave and Scott Walker's original '57 Spider was definitely a highlight! We love to see those Alfas out there getting used.

It was nice talking to everyone and I'm glad a few people got some deals on their parts. Maybe this should be an annual event regardless of the weather?

Sorry, I must have gotten it confused with one of their Sprints.

Thumbs up Great event; Thanks!

Don't feel bad, Joe--even I sometimes can't keep 'em all straight!

Just wanted to chime in and give you guys a big HUP HUP for putting on a great event last Thursday. It was great to meet/greet/visit with everyone, and the food was wonderful. Thank you!

So, who got the gift certificate after all? I only ask b/c I need to order more parts for our '59 Sprint--imagine that?!

Happy new year,

Dave Walker

Dave -

As I think you might have suspected - the $100 gift card does indeed go to you and your brother for the beautiful Spider. We were going to send it with the carpet set, but your are free to use it whenever you like.

Thanks for showing up - what a difference a week makes weather wise, huh!!
