Also known as Robert G Burroughs. He was the original owner of my 77 Fetta sedan. Lived in Albuquerque in the late 70's maybe up until the late 80's. I believe he maybe move to AZ at that time. Just tracing a little history. married to Candace (Candy?)

Hi-
Someone happened to see your note when they Googled my name. I lived in Albuquerque from 1976- 1991. I bought the Alfetta "new" (hadn't been titled, although was used as a demo for about 4K miles as I recall) in 1978 or '79. We really liked the car, and I moved it here when I relocated in 1991. My older daughter learned to drive in it in Tucson, and developed some pretty good biceps from the non-power steering! I finally parted with it by virtually giving it to friend of my brother-in-law who worked on cars on his off time from being a Tucson fireman. I felt he would take good care of her. He apparently fixed the only real problem I encountered (low fuel pressure) by simply cleaning or replacing a filter screen some where in the fuel line. I'd be interested in what has happened to her since, and how/when you came to own her.

Best Wishes,
Bob Burroughs

Hi Bob! I got the car from a friend in Lebanon Ky who bought the car in Az about ten years ago. He drove it back to Ky from Az without a hitch and it pretty much sat in a barn until I got it from him. Since I got her I put a head with bigger valves and cams,Weber 40's, tubular headers, larger front and rear sway bars,Koni's all around. I also got rid of the original dash and bumpers replacing them with the parts from a Alfetta Gt parts car I had. It's about due for a paint job to get rid of all the little dings from parking lot wars. It still has the Art Janpol sticker on the trunk from where you bought it.(see picture) It looks like only one fender and the hood are not the original paint.
She runs like a dream and will continue to be taken well care of.
