I noticed Centerline also lists these as the european specification and I'm trying to figure out what that means given my car was sold in the US. Any ideas?
I assume you're asking about the bumper, not the headlight ring.
The CA ad for the bumper lists it as fitting 1970 - 1982 spiders. That would be true for European cars, since they didn't have to fit 5 mph bumpers in 1975. So they are "European" in that they won't work on post '74 US cars. For you with a '71, this is irrelevant.
The only other difference I can think of is the color of the lens in the light assembly. The CA part is a complete bumper-light assembly. If it comes with a white lens, then I guess that makes it European (US would be white-amber).
