Probably just what you think - I have my whole engine out right now (which means the radiator came out too).
I'm replacing ALL of the radiator mounting padding, the two rubber bushings (if I can find them), the heater hoses (which aren't formed special - just generic hose). I'll check the thermostat.
I will flush my heater core too - because I had an OIL-in-the-antifreeze problem. Mine has an electric fan conversion that needs new wiring as well.
