If I were going to use a sump guard, it would be a Weber, not a Spica.

Seriously, I've purchased two sump guards and never used them for anything except space fillers on the shelf. Even bouncing the GTV's pan off the highway at 75 mph didn't do anything more than causing my heart to stop briefly. Come to think of it, banging the pavement did loosen up the oil drain plug and grind it down a little, but it still works just fine.

I have to go over some speed bumps at an angle as it is. Can't imagine what would happen if the car were effectively an inch or two lower.
