Hi Max, I tend to see your side of this debate and in fact have a 1966 Sprint GT club racer shell that has been well shunted over its life and currently wears an awful set of bondo flares. I hope one day to partially GTA replicate it.

I am very interested in hearing more of your project. I also wonder if you (or any one else) might have dimensions for the aluminum oil recovery box the GTAs (corsa)had on the left side of their engine bays?
