Thanks Steve - this is a great idea, especially for those of us with access to a Bosch specialist locally, but not ready access to Alfa Romeo parts!
In the Excel spreadsheet which I quickly downloaded/saved, I notice you have two coolant temperature sensors. One has a quantity of six, while the other has a quantity of one (I note the fuel injectors have a quantity of one also). Presumably neither of these is that troublesome gauge/warning light sender? I still plan to remove mine and 'bake' it several times, testing for continuity in the process. Then again, that random bright red light does add some character to the car, and passengers love it.
