Clutch looses pressure...Why?

Hi, I just changed the clutch master cilinder and the slave just to be sure, but my '87 spider strangely looses all pressure in the system every two days. What I do is pump the clutch like 5 to 8 times and then it's when I can shift to reverse or first. I haven't detected any leeks. The Dot 3 is new of course. The parts are new, not remanufactured, bought them in IAP. Once the car recovers pressure, it shifts great on the road. Any ideas or comments?

Sure sound to me as if there is a leak, or maybe air in the line. Does the fluid level in the reservoir go down? Did you properly bleed the system?

I would bleed some more. Do you know how to bleed?

1) did you get the slave cylinder in the correct position? (there's a couple ways to get it wrong)

2) did you set the rod on the master cylinder to the correct length

3) did you bleed it with the slave nipple at 12 o'clock?

4) is there by chance a coil spring on the throwout arm that pulls the slave piston back? (if so, get rid of it rhettnow, it's pulling the slave piston back so far that it passes the ports inside and you''ll have to pump it up when you want to use it)
