Gear linkage bushing tips!

Hi! I ordered new isostatic bushings for my transmission from performatek, But the bushings in the front (down for the gear knob) did not come with the package.

I wonder if anyone here has any tips for what I can use for a replacement instead for the bushing? Any MacGyverism here?

knock out the bushing, then drill the shift arm forks to the same size as the existing hole & just replace with same size sholder bolt. It will last longer than a bushing.

Those bushings are 'not available' and they rarely ever wear out. That is the only bushing in that system I clean and reuse.
