4.56 lsd gear oil capacity?
The manual says that the diff should take 2.5 quarts. I could only get 1.5 in before it spilled out.
Anybody know why, or what to do differently?
thanks

I think that must be an error. I've never used more than two one-quart bottles in a diff. Once it starts to flow out the filler hole, it's full.

From the Berlina Register page, which I should have looked at in the first place, I say the diff capacity is 3 pints, which I got out of some era of Berlina owner's manual.

That is because it only holds 3 pints, at any rate fill until it runs out the filler
plug opening, let it drain and install the filler plug.
