What Diff is this?

Just saw this on Ebay:
Alfa Diff
I reckon it is for an Alfa 6. Having never seen one, let alone seeing the underside, I can't positively identify it. I was under the impression that the Alfa 6 had inboard brakes (as per 116), but this diff unit does not have the bosses for the calipers.

Any thoughts?

I could be wrong, but the diff looks like something that might belong to an Alfa 33 4x4 rear diff assembly without the axel tubes attached.
It most certainly not from an independent rear suspension set up as it looks like it has no braket mounts on it to hang from.
The Alfa 6 diff is very similar to to the 116 rear transaxle setup, it uses the diff housing or similar at the rear but has a special part instead of the gearbox section. It looks like the same length as the 116 transaxle because it mount in a similar way. The pinion drive is long and not short as in a normal diff set up.. similar set up as in a datsun 240-260Z rare end.
If anyone has access to the Alfa no. would be great if you could solve this mystery.

My memory failed me! I even had a 33 4x4 and it did not cross my mind.

I will blame it on old age! And the fact that I don't fix cars for a living anymore.
