Clutch Return Springs...

While I am replacing the clutch, etc. in my 1968 Spider Junior, I want to replace the old clutch return springs in my mechanical clutch linkage. There are two, and both are pretty motley-looking. Has anyone replaced those recently, who can tell me where to get them?

I doubt you'll find them new anywhere, they not having been installed in new cars since 1967/68. Maybe ReOriginals would have repros? Maybe someone has good ones lying around?

You might also find something at the local hardware store.

I know the Ace here in town has a pretty huge selection/variety of springs and would imagine the big box stores would too.

Barring that, even a car parts store would have some various springs for all sorts of things, just don't tell them what it's for or they'll come right out with 'ain't got it' as opposed to actually going to look.
