clutch judder

Has someone actually done the GM rubber hood bumper modification on a 105 mechanical clutch Duetto/GTV/TI/Super trans mount to put an end to the clutch/rear end judder in reverse? We've talked about this on the sedan discussion, but I don't recall that anyone had actually done the work. I'm interested to know how successful, if you've done it. I put a new OK Parts mechanical clutch type trans mount on my Super, but it transmitted so much vibration that I'm back to a hydraulic type mount and would like to be able to back up.
