Camber Front Suspensionj

Hi,
I have just fitted ajustable top front suspension arms and would like to correctly set up the suspension on my car.
Does anyone on the list have any experience running negative camber on the front suspension of the 2000GTV (1973)?
I would very much like to have your impressions on running camber at - 1°, - 30' and - 60'.
The Alfa came originally with positive camber which could not be changed. I don't remember exactly but I think it was + 30'.

What are you going to do with the car?

I run -2.5, for autocrossing, on R compound tires, with W&D springs.

If you plan on staying on the street, 0 to -.5 should be fine.

Just using the car for fast road. No competition.
I'll start with - 50' to see what it's like.
The car is lowered on Eibach springs with Koni shocks and sitting on Bridgestones 195/60 HR 14 .
Otherwise everything else is original.

Tell us more about the Eibach!!
Do you have the part numbers for them? I couldn't find them on the Eibach website for the States. I heard some good thing about them.

lowered 40mm
here the numbers on the springs
15/00 BAHO 105VA (front springs)
13/100 BAHO 105HA (rear springs)

You can get them from http://www.alfahurtienne.de a German company that sells Alfa parts. They cost a little over US$200. They speak English!

sounds interesting but what are the spring rates?

You can run more camber if you drive the car hard the wear will even out from the outside edges being worn. I used to wear the outsides out first then increased camber to a point where the tire wears evenly.

If my math is right, the spring rates in 'American' would be;

front: 615 lb/inch
rear: 100 lb/inch
