Need Minilite lug nuts
I have the early Minilite mag wheels which use a "sleve nut" to mount them as they don't have a metal insert in the hole where the lugs pass thru the wheel. Studs are 12mm X 1.5. OD of the sleve is 19mm and length of sleve is .940". Head of the nut takes a 22mm socket. Need at least 16 depending on price, all with right hand threads.
Thanks for your help,
Ed

This is a pretty common mag wheel lugnut. You should be able to go to most any wheel dealer and purchase.
I just bought a set of both LH and RH threaded lugnuts for a set of wheels I bought for an old Alfa. The O.D. which you state as 19mm is 3/4" and I think my head takes a 7/8" wrench which are the US equivalents.

Go to Technical forums, spider (62 & up) and then to the thread named silly lug nut question. Look for the link marked "here" in Papajam's reply. If you can't find the lug you need there it's probably not made.... I've never seen so many lugs in one place and they answered my e-mail very fast.

Thanks for the lead!
Just got off the phone with them and they can't fill the order either.

My problem seems to be 12mm ID with 19mm OD.

Ed,
I may never find that GTA radio block-off plate, but I found the Minilite web-site in the UK and asked them about your required lug nuts. They will probably get back to me sometime soon.
Their web-site is: www.minilite.co.uk/index.html
I'll let you know as soon as I get an answer from them.
Cheers,

You also might want to try British Sports & Classics in Connecticut.

Ed, I know this is a very old thread, but I was wondering if you ever did source lug nuts for the real Minilites?? Or anyone else??
Ciao

Yes. I got them from a local tire dealer who got them from a supplier in Ca. They aren't exactly like the originals at the head, but they are OK. They are chrome acorn headed sholdered lug nuts. IIRC threads are 12 X 1.25 mm. Don't remember the OD on the sholder that goes thru the wheel, but fit perfectly. He also supplied flat washers for them.
I can send a pic if you PM me with your address.

Hi! Could you send the picture to me also?
These sound like the one I need for my American Silverstone wheels.
Thanks, Randy
