ride height strangeness

any thoughts on this?

I just installed centerline springs in my duetto and the front driver side is 2 inches taller. I have equal sized spring pans with the right side having 10mm spacers.- to drop that side.
I know that the drivers side should be higher when the car is empty - but that much?-how does 10mm of spacer difference equal 2 inches in ride height?
thanks all

By spacers, I assume you mean between the spring pan and the lower a-arm. A 10mm spacer will give you close to an inch of ride height change, but not 2 inches. Are you sure the springs are properly seated on their rubber perches, and that the perches themselves are seated in the chassis and spring pan respectively?

thanks for the reply. 1 inch sounds better for driver side "offset"
I now know that something is amiss with the springs or spring seats.

I had this same funkyness but it turned out I had different depth spring pans. The difference is very subtle, but the spider knows.

Well i re-seated the spring on the drivers side, which appeared a bit off, and removed the spacers on the passenger side. I am still left with a 1/2 inch higher drivers side which i guess is about right. Although it still is a bit odd since now the pans are the same depth. thanks all
