105 Tyres for Standard Rims

I have recently put a set of Michelin XM1 185/70R14 tyres on standard rims on my 105. There is little tyre choice in this size, but I have to say, these are excellent tyres - they are a silica tyre and the grip and low noise is fantastic. Recommend these for anyone looking for a good tyre for standard rim.

cheers,

//dean

Thanks for that bit of info. I have standard steel rims on my 69 GT 1300, and was wondering what I might put on them. The last time I bought tires for a 67 GSGTV-Q , (in1976) I got a Michelin XZX Radial, and loved it. I imagine the XM1 is a considerable upgrade. What was the price per tire?

I went to several tire sites, including a Michelin home page, but could not find the tire listed. I wonder if they are distributed in the US? I'll look around some more.
Thanks for the info though.

Tim
