Looking for 15x6 Racing Wheels

Dear Racing Alfisti (or anybody else, for that matter),

I'm looking for a set of wheels suitable for racing to go on my '67 GT; these have to be 15" x 6", stipulated by the vintage racing group (CSRG, as well as SCCA Stock specs) I'm planning run the car in. Any suggestions?

I've been told that BBS made such a size back when, but they're apparently quite rare nowadays.

Thanks for any input!

Pathung,

The first idea that came to mind was the stock wheels from 1986-90 spider QV or 91-94 spider veloce (6J X 15") which are PERFECT fit for any 105/115, but it is said that these wheel weigh hefty 24-5lbs each , so if you are looking for something lightweight, they are no-no.

Some of the stock wheels on Ford focus are 6J X 15", but their offset is too high for 105/115...

Maybe some fox-bodied mustang wheels? Or you can have 105 stock steel wheels widened...

Lastly, I think that panasport makes 6J X 15" wheels for 105/115 alfa.

This is all I can think of right now...

Edit: Here's a link to the IAP web page for 6J X 15" panasport, at $259 each

Patrick - I have 4 15X6 steel slotted wheels. They weigh 21lbs, 23/4" backspace. They came with an SCCA racer. They may not be ideal, but will get you on the road. Later, Gary

I think there are some Audi and Saab wheels that would work.. I think the Saab 900? came with some wheels that look like Panasports.

Yes, there were RONAL wheels that look like panasport that were optional for the saab 900, but the ones with 4 X 108 bolt pattern (1987-93 IIRC) are extremely hard to find, if possible at all. I have seen only one set showed up on ebay for the last couple of years.

racing wheels

check out this website

and catalog

I think they have what you need. I don't know if you can get the offset that you need. The wheels are very light in weight.

hope it helps

Would these work? The sort of look like Alfa Steel wheels.

I believe that they, being steel, may be a bit heavy for racing applications...

Wil, I assume that you went with TZ-type wheels? Do you have a picture that shows these wheels on your car? Thanks.

*** Ooops, I see it now, Wil, on the thread you provided (didn't read far enough) - looks nice with the yellow of the car.

Rota makes a Panasport look-alike at less than half the price of Panasports. I'm getting a set of 15x7 with an offset of 30mm for $500 a set. They also make them in a 15x6 and the offset is 20 or 22mm. The price would be similar. It's called the RB. 18racing is ordering mine from Rota. Since the 108 pattern isn't as common as others, I have to wait 3-4 months, though.
