yvesmontreal: Most pads I have bought they actuallt recommend braking them in at the track... Start slow and work up the speed progressively and finish with a coulpe of laps at full speed (with a couple of cool down lap before pit-in naturally)

Personally I don't like the DS2500, they lack the bite I have in the Pagid pads on the 75. Works but lacks the feeling and bite, quite annoying when the vacuum booster disappears after driving HARD...

I also recommend the Porterfield R4S carbon kevlar pads. The advantage over carbon metallic is that the kevlar is very rotor friendly. I use these for autocross and track events with great results.

I had those in my previous 75 and I think you're rigth, they lack a little bit of bite, but, when you get used, they simply don't fade and they last long.

So why not get the DS3000 instead?

Squeal Relief

My GTV6 sees no track days so what I want is a pad that is quiet ( unlike the present
8 little piglets ). Can anyone recommend a good QUIET pad? Alfa original equipment maybe?
