Question Koni setup

Hey folks, Does anyone know the proper torque for installing new Koni classics on the front of my '78 Spider. I am not sure how tight the upper mounting bolts should be tightened or how much the rubber donuts should be compressed. I dont wnat to ruin them on instalation.
Thanks. And again, I appreciate all your input. This is a great site and I wish more of you were closer in Texas.

The upper shock nuts should be tightened until the rubber donuts are equal to or just slightly larger in diameter than the large metal washers.

Talking

Thanks PAPA, knew I could count on you for the correct info.
Any idea how replacing the worn out Boge front shocks with these Koni's, and not replacing the worn out SPICA shocks in the rear will change the handling??? The budget does not allow the new back ones until later. I will be replacing all the bushings in the rear at the same time as the shocks.
Thanks again.
