Wheel alignment for a 156 GTA

Can the toe in and camber numbers in the owners manual be relied upon for a wheel alignment for my 2002 156 GTA? When I bought my new tyres the Goodyear tyre fitters in Cessnock had different figures. Has anyone had experience with an optimum set of front and rear wheel alignment numbers for general road driving with a nod toward high mileage? Any assistance would be appreciated. Cheers, Dave

Did the tyre fitters look up the GTA or the V6? The numbers are different, the latter numbers being for the 2.5 V6. That being said, neither the front nor rear camber is adjustable on a stock 156 GTA.

The 147, 156 and GT generally have a slight toe out in front and toe in at the rear, but I don't know the numbers or if the GTA have a different factory setup.

In any case, I'd go with the numbers in the owner's manual unless you have modified the suspension with huge rims and/or lowering.
