alfetta brakes

my brakes feel some times they are sticking on and pull too the left is this common?

Sounds like you need what I call an ALFA brake service. I basically go in there clean the calipers with brake cleaner, remove all the road grime, change the pads if needed. I also readjust the rears as well as do the same as above. Flushing the brake fluid is also needed if it hasn't been done for a while.

sticking on and pulling to one side is not normal or safe. get the calipers rebuilt, check rotors & pads to make sure they are still good. check flex hoses to make sure they are not old and plugging up (keeps pressure from releasing). check wheel bearing clearance. while you are at it, flush the brake fluid too.

Pulling to one side or another when on the brakes is often down to an alignment difference from left to right or worn bushings/balljoints on one side. Check those while you're under the car... especially the caster rod bushings & bolts.

You can usually feel a sticking caliper by jaking the car up and spinning the wheels by hand. Try spinning the rotors without the wheels on, since the wheels give you a bit too much leverage to feel subtle differences in caliper drag.
