Tecnomagnesio Wheels Available from Centerline
We're happy to announce a new product line at Centerline - Tecnomagnesio and MiM alloy wheels. Tecnomagnesio has been producing street and racing alloy wheels in Italy since 1964 and has a long and storied history with Alfas. MiM wheels are the sister line to Tecnomagnesio, with designs that are slightly more elegant.
To our eyes these wheels will look "right" on a GTV/6, Milano, or 164. We hope to have 4 cylinder fitments coming online later this year.
I've been running a set of 16 x 7 Tecnomagnesios on my Verde for about 5 years now, and I'm quite happy with their performance and durability. The roads around here are quite punishing, and a wheel that will last 5 years running low profile tires is rare.
These wheels are in stock now. For details and specs, visit the Wheels section of our Online Store:

This is a long term goal. It will take significant $$$ to get these produced again.

Would it be too much of a long shot to think they could produce the Montreal magnesium "turbina" rims to order? After all, Campagnolo (which became "Tecnomagnesio" in 1981) originally made them.
But I guess we're talking even bigger $$$'s in that case
(The eternal challenge: 108 PCD 6.5x14 rims (not 6", not 7") that actually looks god on a Montreal ...)

Tecnomangesio Indianapolis on Milano Verde
After weeks of Spring blizzards, being too busy to think straight, delayed tire shipments and other really boring delays, I was finally able to fit a set of the TM Indianapolis 16" x 7" wheels to my Verde tonight.
I went with some fairly meaty 225/40-16 tires. After a hard high speed thrash I can positively say they don't rub *anywhere* and along with some new, slightly more aggressive alignment setting the handling has never been better!
The thing that is really impressive about these Tecnomagnesio wheels is the fit and finish. I couldn't be happier with how they turned out.

Mak,
The car is lowered about 1" all around (maybe a little more in back), with 25.4mm torsion bars and upgraded front and rear sway bars. I've had other Milanos that were much lower but also slower from point A to point B.
When I set this car up I specifically kept it close to stock ride height in consideration of the roads around here. I like to drive fast and you simply can't slow down for every dip and frost heave. My solution is to keep a realistic ride height. This is also why good strong wheels like these Tecnomagnesios are important.
Regarding the wind deflectors - I got this set 10 years ago in Italy and brought them back in my luggage. I have a source for them and may try to stock them if there is interest.

The 16" sizes are 18 - 19 lbs and the 17" sizes are 20 - 21 lbs, depending on model.

Very nice wheels!!
I agree with your description: They definitely look right! The ten-spoke Technomagnesio 16 x 7 wheels look very nice.
Do you have any pictures of that wheel on a Milano or a GTV6?
Thanks in advance,

If they'd like to send a set to California, I will gladly photograph my car with them

Technomagnesio Wheels
I agree !! Sounds like a road trip.
Pictures of rims on a GTV6 on the Santa Barbara Pier followed by pictures on a '87 Milano with the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge in the background !! What excellent ideas for a marketing campaign and a stimulus to the Italian economy !!
If I bought these wheels with tires it would be about the same price I paid for the car ..... hard to imagine that
Joe I am seriously tempted ....
