1967 Giulia Super brakes
Hello all - first post
After too long a story I got back to my Super
After a reasonable period, I got the engine started and running well
My continuing problem is that the right front brake slave isn't retracting
I've taken it apart 3 times and plunged it back all the way, took off the dust boot and filled it with grease. With no shoe in place, I pumped it out and pushed it back ( I can push it back with hand pressure - hard hand pressure).
I run it with a 10mm open end in my pocket. After I apply the brakes, I pull over and open the bleeder, it rocks fore or aft (it is now free) I get back in and after I apply the brakes, must do that again, as it is still braking.
My question: Is it that I keep bleeding this last slave last? Should I bleed some other bleeder as the last?
Same master cyl. - though I had to take it apart, clean a stuck piston, refill and replace and bleed the whole system.
In short - HELP!!
I've owned the car for 21 years. I know my way around this car - and yet I'm stumped.
