1969 Alfa GT Junior 1300 tires: which brand do you recommend?

Hi, I have Dunlop P195/65/R14 tires on my '69 Gt Junior 1300 which wore out very quickly. Can anyone recommand a brand that is more durable? Adrianvan

I had Dunlops on my daily driver and they went in something like 20K miles. I'm trying Michelins now. Quite pricy compared to the Dunlops. I almost went off the road a coupla of times with the Dunlops due to aqua-planing.

Michelin makes a less expensive model called "Harmony" .
I have them on my Duetto in 185/70-15 and they are great ! Bought them on sale for $65 too !

I've always replaced the crappy OEM tires on all my daily driver vehicles with all season Michelins and "Harmony" (more recently). Of late my vehicles have been heavy vehicles and I found the Michelins (for day to day driving) to have superb wear and handling quality compared to the stock factory equipment. Yes they cost a lot more but next to brakes, tires are the most important element in the safety equation. When I get my GTV on the road I'm going to go with Michelins on the stock steelie rims as well.
