Rotor removal

Would someone verify that to remove the front rotors you need to first remove the center grease cap, then the cotter pin and nut? And with the rear rotors, you need to unscrew the two bolts on the face of the rotor "hat"?

Thanks.

you need to remove the brake calipers, then remove the hub assb. from the axle. then remove the 2 screw that hold it to the rotor( but some advice here, after you remove the 2 flat bladed screw from the rotor/hub, replace them with allen counter sunk screw, this will make any later repair much easyer)the tap the rotor off the bug, can be a tight fit. to re-instale reverse the instuctions, but on the rotor face( the part that sets behind the hub) use some anti seize, to keep the rust from forming and bonding the rotor to the hub....so easy...hard to type")

Thanks for the tip. After looking at what parts are also on the spline, how do you know if the inner and outer bearings and oil seal need to be replaced. In the photo you can see there is a lot of grease behind the outer cap. Is that normal or an indication that a seal needs to be replaced? What kind of grease is required? Thanks for the help.
