GTV6 Rear Spring Specs

Hi Guys

I am trying to sort out my GTV6's handling issues. Firstly she has the old nose up backside down hyena syndrome common of these cars, so I'll be cranking the torsion bars down 15 a side to get an inch off the front ride height. I'd love it if it was that easy to get the backside up though. I am looking for stiffer springs and maybe a little increased height over standard. The question is, what is standard? I could measure my springs to see where I'm at, but where am I meant to be?? Does anyone have the specs for stock springs? I'd like to know the standard spring diameter, coil thickness, free length and spring rate if anyone can help. I dont see the point in buying 2nd hand 25 year old springs and in South Africa I dont find anyone with aftermarket springs sold specifically for this car. I can possibly buy new springs if I had all the right specs though, so please guys, who has specs or can maybe tell me what other cars have similar springs I can get

Sorry, don't have standard spring specs to hand (or standard springs for that matter, they were consigned to a skip many moons ago), but if you want to lift the rear, is a simple matter to make some spacers to sit on top of the rear springs. Just a donut shaped ring, with the thickness whatever is necessary to give you the lift you want (is pretty much 1 for 1). I used to use 10mm spacers to get the front to rear rake that I wanted.

Also, there are plenty of saffas on alfaGTV6.com who might have a lead for you on springs in your part of the world.
