State of the BB
With 10K ++++ members shouldn't the BB be doing better than this?

Those numbers are so wrong! They list daily page views around 6,000 when we serve up something like 40-45,000 pages a day.
There are a lot of sites that give values like that but I've never seen one that is correct.
Hopefully if/when Alfa Romeo returns to the USA some advertisers will be interested in our audience. Until then its a boot strap operation.

Aldo What do you want? The BB as of now still has the best people on it! You want more of what? People who know nothing of our cars? More crap posted like other sites?
We are a comunitiy people linked like a Family. I love the BB as Is.
Please enlighten me as what the BB should be doing.
If its catering to folks who do not even wave back to a Sprots car driver Screw That. Thay can drive MB AMG SLKs and be me me mes.
My 2 cents and Please dont change the BB for the sake of $$ I think Dick Channy has shown us $$$ is not everything
Thanks Crew

PSB....my sentiments exactly....I've checked out other car forums and the look/feel/of the Alfabb is unmatched (in my eyes at least)....and I agree, it's because of the people who are in the membership. Those other BB's are worth $0 to me...but the Alfabb is priceless!

I think your reading too much into my post. I was just questioning the numbers that didn't seem to make sense, and Simon cleared this up.
And I like this site more than you,

Simon,
Thank you for your clarification on the skewed figures as presented by the various sites, which can be very misleading just used as statistics without any reference as to quality and accuracy.

The Alfa community has always been composed of a blend of very generous, well-meaning, helpful, supportive, gracious, fun-loving, and warm people that draw from all kinds of backgrounds and talents across the various industries as a whole. For some reason, Alfa has been able to hold on to that ideal, no matter where your place is in society, with a few exceptions, like other "snooty" car clubs could never approach let alone attain. I'm sure I don't need to name those other clubs here.
Alfisti are a special breed of people set out far above the others that recognize what the meaning of "community" is and their responsibility as a member of it.

While it may not be, I'll wager Simon is still anteing from his own pocket to keep the bb up and running, with the new design, servers, etc. that we all enjoy or get our daily "fix" from.
