No Notification E-mails
Simon, the e-mail notification feature for new posts in Subscribed threads seems to only work intermittently. There are long stretches - while the board is up - when multiple posts are made (to several Subscribed threads), and no e-mails have been received. This has occurred occasional recently. Today in fact all day. Waaaassssss up? Bruce

My account is overflowing with them.....
My e-mail notification messages do come in behind postings that I've already seen, but I just figured I was diverted doing other things and didn't get back to my e-mail account to delete the others fast enough as they arrived.

For those who are not getting e-mails I would suggest you click on "User CP". and then on "View all Subscribed Threads". The "Notification" column will appear next to all threads under your user-id. You will be able to see what level (instant, daily, weekly, etc.) of notification, if any, is associated to each thread.
Best regards,

Enrique,
Instant is designated in my drop-down menu as the default and all subscribed threads show instant. So in my case, I think I just don't get back soon enough to delete the old notifications, then when I do, the new ones that I've already read load.

Cheryl,
You may want to change your settings to "daily"...
I have all notifications turned off. When I log on to the BB, I click on "User CP", and any thread with posts since my last visit shows up in bold. Similarly, if I click on "New Posts" (on the top green bar), any thread with posts since my last visit shows up. Thus, the BB tells me about all posts in my threads and all others, since my last visit. I find this "personal" service quite effective, and so, I don't use the notification system...
Best regards,

good advice!!!
Me too, Enrique! I encounter no problems with the bb, only the content of some of the messages.
