Hello Ruedi,
Not alle things are worse in the second edition. Some mistakes were corrected. For example the chassisnumbers of the GTA 1300 Junior, they were wrong in the first edition and have been corrected in the second one. I guess other mistakes were also corrected.
If you have a first edition of the book, the cheap thing would be to purchase the book by Maurizio Tabucchi called 'Guida all'identificazione Alfa Romeo' published in 2000 by Giorgio Nada. There is also a German and an English version of this book for sale. The second edition of Tabucchi and d'Amico can't be missed though, so it is on my bookshelf as well.
Ciao, Olaf

Alfa Books List
Olaf, Ruedi, Stu [et. al.] ...,
I received this in my e-mail with auction reports that I regularly receive, is this what I think it is?
New Official Bizzarrini book
Available January 2009
(more than 600 photos)
Order now
Possibly, an update to some previous editions that fall below the scholarly mark in research and have grammatical inconsistencies....or am I mistaken?

Hello Cheryl and other members,
It sounds a lot like what you think it is! I will not use names .........
If you are really interested in Bizzarrini, have a look at the book 'Bizzarrini' with the subtitle 'Register, facts, figures ...' written by Jack Koobs de Hartog in 2007. I couldn't find an ISBN number in the book.
It is a small book and it isn't cheap but loaded with information on every Bizzarrini that was ever produced. Much more thorough research according to my opinion.
Ciao, Olaf

Thanks for your opinion and concurrence; interested or not, it was intended as an unverified cautionary statement to all based on the e-mail.
Thanks for the lead in another direction.
