Recently, were sharing a lot mor video around the board and on the internet, so how about a video section? It could be even a sub section. It will give a distinct area to put it and not have to question where to go to find that amazing 60's police chase with the Alfa cop car etc....

this is an excellent idea .Video's can show so much more of a car - particuarly one you are not familiar with... also now with most people having broadband it is quite feasabile...

should it be just a section on its own? -it could even be a sticky for each of the model subsections...
any other ideas?

While this may sound like a good idea up front, videos tend to take up a lot of disk space and bandwidth. This idea was discussed several times in the recent past, and I may have even started one of the discussions.

yes and no - yes if they are hosted on this site- but most of the ones i have seen posted have been hosted somewhere else - theyre is also allot of potential for websites like youtube.com etc etc. these are free hosts and can be linked to directly. thats one way of passing of the bandwidth.

i really dont think the videos need to be hosted here at all - there's enough content around to be worth doing imho...

Gifford, you are mistaken. I'm talking about what 87Sprint is talking about. There is no need to have alfabb host video, nor is that necessary. Youtube and photobucket.com host video just fine.
