What should it look like?

Almost everyone buying Alfas in the US today is buying a used one, and quite often they're modified, improved, neglected, or otherwise not in original condition.

Is there any interest in a "What should it look like?" forum, where people can ask for a photo or description of what a part or configuration is supposed to look like in its original form?

As an example, I have three holes in the underside center of my GTV6 hood where something bolts on to rub against the hood spring. But I have no idea what it looks like, exactly. A picture would tell 1000 words here.

Lots of people must be in a similar situation, especially those who are doing restorations.

People ask for (and get) pictures/descriptions like this all the time on the BB, sprinkled throughout all of the various forums. I'm just thinking it might be good to have it all in one place. It might make searches easier, at least.

I agree

I agree with your post. I wonder also whether the more talented members could video some maintenance activities... asking a lot I guess.

I agree there is a need, I'm not sure how you would run it. I guess the wiring diagrams are a case in point - the hard work of some BBers is there for all to make use of (for which I remain eternally grateful...).

I have tried sourcing literature (lots of frustrating eBay activity) to get original photos of the car in showroom condition, to no avail.
