best of section?

how bout a best of section for each car. that way you can accesss lowering of suspension ideas that have been proven to work for that model. or you can find what someone did to rectify a certain common problem for a particular model.people complain because others ask the same questions over and over. i personally dont have a problem with this. but another site that i frquent has a best of, and it gives you loads of info without much searching. another site i frequented even had down loadable directions to do major operations on the car with input from people that actually have done the work. those people supplied input to solving problems along the way saving the next guy time, money and frustration. just my 2 cents.

Well, there is a sticky at least at the top of the Spider section with links to many useful posts of the kind you describe. Part of the problem, probably surmountable with a relational database (but who's going to do the work?) is that some procedures apply to many models, some to only a few, and the cross-referencing could be a nightmare. In other words, for example, procedures that apply to, say, any and all 105/115 vehicles could be posted once but referenced at the top of each of those sections (otherwise there would be a lot of repetition), but procedures that apply only to Spiders of a certain year would be limited to the Spider section. If done right, it would be good, but would be a lot of work.
