Unhappy Can't stay logged on.

For the last couple of weeks I've been kicked off the forum after 5, 10, 15 min. This never happened before. Is it something on my side? I have to keep logging in which is a pain.

That typically happens when you don't check "remember me" when logging in... If you click on the box, when logging in, the system should no longer log you off...

Best regards,

I've tried that Enrique, clicked the remember me box and the next instant I'm off again.

Oh well, must just be me then. I'll do the remember my password thing so it's not such a pain.

OK, then log in and then log off yourself. IOTW, don't let the system log you off. You should get a message that "all cookies have been cleared". Now log in again, with the "remember me" option clicked...

Best regards,

It sounds like you had a corrupt cookie (which is what the forced logout/login procedure clears).

If I leave the site and go to another one I am kicked off, it's still happening. None of the other sites do this to me
I cleared the cookies, anything else I can do?

I suspect the issue is related to your computer (file system, browser or antivirus software). First, I suggest you run a disk cleanup (Start->All Programs->Accessories->System Tools->Disk Cleanup) followed by NTregopt (a utility Microsoft recommends, which is downloadable here). The first utility gets rid of temporary files and any problems that may exist in the file system the second one gets rid of dead file entries in the registry.

To outright get rid of the board cookies to ensure a fresh start, delete any and all instances of alfabb from your cookies folder.
