Lightbulb listing the cars and their owners

How about a chart/area(?) that lists car and year and then below it the members who own said car and year? This would allow all the folks with say a '79 Spider Veloce to contact one another and swap stuff, information, and what have you.
i.e.,

Spider Veloce 1979

alfemale,
so and so
another name
veloce owner
etc...

Good idea, bad idea?

thanks,

Sarah.

We have that already (in a way), just not on a set page.

- Avatars - You can put 50x50 pixel pictures in there, which could be your car.

-Signature - Put whatever you would like in there. Name, Car model & year, qoutes, anything that floats your boat.

What if we set up a poll? We could make a list like this:

Duetto
1966-1968
1750 Spider - Series ?
1969-1970
Spider - Series 1
1971-1974
Spider - Series 2
1975-1982
Spider - Series 3
1983-1989
Spider - Series 4
1990-1994

Giulia Sprint GT
1964-1967
Giulia Sprint GT Veloce
1966-1968
GTV 1750
1968-1971
GTV 2000
1972-1975

This is just an example. I am sure there are some inaccuracies in my list. And I would imagine that the list would be very extensive in order to cover all the different Alfa models. i.e. Giulia, Giulietta, Berlina, Alfetta, Montreal, Milano/75, 164, 156, etc.

Just a thought.

Cool

That's not a bad idea and then you could put your user name and specific year of car under it .

I set up a poll like this long ago, but only for GTV models. If someone could supply me with a thorough list of Alfas I could put the poll together.

Very good idea - I was surprised there wasn't a text box in the registration form to put in what car(s) you have.

Coincidentally, I've just bought a 79 Spider Veloce!

Great. I just got another GTV (just a shell) to use as a donor for my race-car project...and I am looking at buying another three or maybe four Alfas very soon!

I am getting worse! The disease has taken over!
