Dedicated ebay listing

I think it would be a good idea to have a dedicated section for people posting things about ebay, esp. if they are the owners or ebay crowds just letting non-ebay savy people that something really good is going for auction. It would also not clutter up the rest of the bb as much...

I'd offer my services to moderate that section if need be...

I second that. As an eBay lister, I'm always reluctant to post my auctions to this BB because I don't want to breach BB ettiquette... But it is nice to be able to find out about good deals on eBay!

My only worry would be that that section would become a bit of a wasteland... Do we have enough eBay posts to support that as a separate entity from the "for sale" section?

I think AlfaBB members have been very disciplined in not creating a lot of noise in the forums.

If an auction doesn't apply to "For Sale" or a specific car type, one may as well type "Alfa" as the search term on eBay. Other stuff correctly shows up in "Off-Topic Talk."

Therefore, I don't see much value in a separate eBay forum.

I agree. Ebay auctions are really the same as "Alfas for Sale" and "Used Parts for Sale" with a slightly different way of buying. I would rather see the for-sale stuff remain in those forums.

That's my vote, anyways!
