91 Spider Idle/Low RMP..help

Hi everyone....I posted this to the digest too so I apologize if you've seen it already!

I finally have my engine reassembled after head gasket surgery and I'm quite proud of myself...running with no leaks or metal-to-metal crunching sounds, explosions, etc.

However its running a little ragged at start, idle, etc. Sounds really nice otherwise....only had it up to about 4000 rpm so far, driving around checking for leaks, problems, etc. Any common adjustments to make/check?

Its a 91 Motronic Spider.

OK....now after I post that message it refuses to start. Cranks & cranks...gets fuel (disconnected the fuel line to the injection rail), and still nothin. I changed nothing other than giving the car a bath.....didn't spray the engine compartment or anything.

Ugh.
