86 spider wont start

i would like to know if an altitude relay will cause a no start? can any one help me??

I doubt it. My understanding is that the altitude compensation device merely tells the ECU (computer) how or if to adjust the fuel mixture during open loop running (O2 sensor not warmed up &/or engine at idle speed).
