69 Spider nose bump

The body man is up front working on the nose. Can anyone tell me how long the crease above the grill runs? There wasn't much to start with as far as reference points go. We'd like to get it pretty close. Thanks.

There has been lots of discussion about Duetto dimpled nose. I believe mine is original and it has almost an 8 inches long dimpled nose. I have taken several pictures and here is the link and a link ot the Duetto in San Francisco, the first picture of the Cliff House shows the nose in relation to the rest of the body :

The pictures by 67duetto (in the link) are excellent, and his car's dimple nose does look original. I'm posting another picture here, from a '68 Spider that is also original. It matches what 67duetto posted, although the picture is not as clear as the set by 67duetto.

Thanks Zunige,

Here is another link to the Cliff House picture of the nose in relation to the rest of the body. The nose is more visible at certain angle as as the Cliff House shot

Thanks for the great shots. I didn't realize it ran so far back. If anyone has time to measure one with a tape it would be helpful. Otherwise we'll go with just shy of 8 inches.

Scott,

8 inches dimple is about right as the nose line starting to blend in with the rest of the nose beyond 8 inches. Please post some pictures after your's is done.
