need help with flasher

74 spider. purchased with wires hanging under dash missing a flasher. I have a generic 3 prong flasher but what wire go where? I have four wires hanging under the dash. 1) red 2) blue/black 3) black 4) black/white

Flasher has three prongs 1) x 2) L 3) P

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Off the top of my head;

x (or +) = red
L = black AND black/white
P = blue/black

Unless someone verifies this, I'll confirm this evening.
