Ashamed to say we tightened them by hand...hard, we did not want to have to tighten them anytime soon!

This makes me very nervous... I used the specs from one of my other cars as a guideline... turned out that both nuts on #4 were loose (and the farthest one is a huge PITA to get at).

On the same topic I also installed new plugs... the manual I had basically said to tighten until the crush washer is compressed but not more... HUH? I just can't do that to an aluminum head. Again I used my trusty torque spec from one of my other cars.

This looks like it's going to be an on going thing.

18-23 ft/lbs if you want the actual # for torquing plugs.
