Does my Alfa have any sensors?

Just wondering if my 73' spider has any sensors attached to it. Like oxygen or temp sensors. I do have the spica fuel injection.

Reason I'm asking is that after about 45 minutes of driving my alfa, it runs horrible. Feels like vapor lock, not getting the proper gas flow. I replaced the thermostat and I know that the water is circulating ok. Temp gauge seems to be ok and not running to hot.

Could it be that a sensor is malfunctioning?

Off the top of my head, I'd suspect a fuel delivery problem too.

Is your low fuel pressure light on? If not, test it to make sure it's functioning.

Here are some things to check:

1) Your fuel pump. Old, tired fuel pumps tend to act up when the get hot.

2) Wiring to the fuel pump. If it's corroded, the pump will not provide enough fuel pressure due to insufficient voltage.

3) Fuel filters (both of them). If in doubt, change them.

I had similar problems in my Spider. Turns out it was merely the rear fuel filter. Apparently the gas heated up and caused the old filter to expand, thereby choking off the gas supply.

(not an expert, just had similar experience)
