water pump and thermostat gaskets

Ladies and gents, I am having a rather difficult time finding gaskets for the water pump and thermostat housing (both thermostat itself and housing-to-intake plenum). Anyone know of anywhere that sells them, or a good material to make home-made ones?

Cereal boxes work very well in a pinch, as does buying a sheet of gasket paper at the local parts counter.

Thanks lads. I did the cereal box trick last time with a little extra silicone gel. I will try this Jon Norman fella first tho - be nice to have real ones!
