99 2.0 TS Spider window drop?

Hi,Can anyone advise Me.I have a may 1999 Face lift 2.0 TS Spider and have trouble with the door windows sealing under the hood. I do not know if my car is fitted with dropping windows or not.I have taken the door cards off and removed the drivers side lock assembly.There are 2 connectors to the lock,one has 4 wires the other just 2 black wires and seems to go into to the lock possibly to a micro switch? to activate dropping windows? Does anyone know if this is how I can tell if my car is fitted with drop windows or is this 2 wire connection is for something else.Neither of my windows drop so If I have this feature on my car where do I look next to rectify this fault?
